Local Activities

Most local attractions and day trips from Reef Retreat NQ are included in your Short Term Accommodation (STA) respite care funding, as STA integrates support, accommodation, food and activities. Please view our example itinerary of a 6-night stay for respite or capacity building.

Some activities can be included during supported stays requiring 24/7 support and this is negotiated on a case-by-case basis and reflected in the Service Agreement.

For other visitors and guests staying, attending local attractions will incur a fee. As each person’s stay is individualised, we will work with you during the planning period in the lead up to your visit to curate your itinerary, including any additional costs that you will incur.

If you have a Companion Card, it is recommended you bring it with you.
